Its base station is slightly larger than other models and requires 50cm of space either side and 150cm front but for those with the room it can provide a completely hands-free clean.
The intelligent navigation technology of the X10 is able to monitor the layout and design of your home. It stores the information in its internal memory, without ever sending it to the cloud. Combining AI See with iPath laser mapping technology, the X10 is able to effectively keep track of room layouts and optimize cleaning routes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
The X10's intelligent object recognition system also performs well it allows the robot to easily recognize and avoid hazards such as power cords. It can also be programmed to automatically clean and recharge its battery which is a nice touch. However, I found that the X10 can get stuck on some more thick carpets, which can cause it to crash loudly over them, and sometimes pushing its front brush into the rugs.
Overall it's a top quality robot vacuum and mop that's disappointing due to a confusing application. Eufy Clean's app isn't as easy to use as the iRobot App, which guides you through the process of setting up your robot up and teaches users how to use. It's a great choice for those who want to customize it.
4. SwitchBot S10
The SwitchBot S10 vacuum cleaner robot is the perfect solution to home cleaning. It is a combination of a vacuum cleaner with mop. It is also very loud when in use, and therefore may not be suitable to use in areas where silence is desired. It is, however, an excellent value for the price. The SwitchBot S10 is an item that stands out from the rest due to its sleek, modern design.
5. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an upgrade from the popular Mini robot vacuum. This latest version is a combination of an Anti-Tangle Rubber Brush, Advanced Position Sensitive Detector (PSD) sensor, and upgraded suction power reaching up to 3000Pa to offer greater corner coverage and overall cleaning.
The K10 Plus uses SLAM navigation an easy app, and a thorough cleaning process. The PSD sensor works in tandem with the rotary brush to move through furniture. The four-stage cleaning process consolidates, lifts and sweeps debris from floors and carpets. The dustbin is self-emptying and you don't need to worry about it being emptying frequently.
You can also mark areas in the room you don't want the robot to enter like pets toys or power cords. This feature is common in robotic vacuums. It's helpful when certain areas of your home need more attention.
You can set the K10 Plus to return to its base station every 60, 75 or 90 minutes to automatically empty its trash bin. This is a major improvement over other robots which have to be returned and manually empty. It will save you lots of time.
In my tests I found that the K10 Plus had a very good battery life. It lasted 110 mins on a single run. This is higher than the Roomba Combo from iRobot's 127 mins.
The K10 Plus has a fairly compact design, making it easy to put under furniture or tight spaces. It is connected via Wi-Fi and includes Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri shortcuts. It is compatible with IFTTT Samsung SmartThings, Samsung SmartThings and IFTTT. Its app tracks the usage of its accessories like the filter, side brushes and dust bag, letting you know when it's time to replace them.
